5 killed, 13 injured as bus, lorry collide

Seventeen passengers were killed on the spot as 56 others escaped with injuries yesterday after a bus coming from Mpwapwa heading to Dar es Salaam collided head-on with a lorry in Kongwa District.

Seven passengers were killed and seven others got injured in a road accident involving a lorry and a power tiller at Getasam Village in Hanang’ District on Thursday night.
