Africans responsible for own development
Most African countries became independent in the 1960s. For over half a century the continent has been under the rule of Africans. But, almost all the countries continue to grapple with poor economic performances even despite being endowed with huge natural resources – including arable land and favourable climatic conditions for plant growth.
