Arusha boys win Tanzania ITF/CAT glory

Georgina Kaindoha, one of the fastest rising Tanzanian players, suffered an early exit on the first day of the International Tennis Federation (ITF)/CAT 18 and-under championship in Morocco yesterday.

Tanzanian tennis youngsters yesterday made a bright start to the ITF/CAT East African Junior Championships that got underway at the Dar es Salaam Gymkhana Club.

Four Tanzanian players made it to the semi-finals of the ITF/CATEast Africa Junior Championship after  winning their respective matches at the Dar Gymkhana Club yesterday.

Tanzania boys won the 2014 Street Child World Cup producing a powerful performance to beat their neighbours Burundi 3-1. After the game both teams joined together to stress that the Street Child World Cup was more than just a game, and to congratulate the players from all teams at the tournament.
