Bank and varsity to empower 300 youth

There is no doubt that there is increasing recognition across the world of the fact that the youth are a crucial factor in influencing economic growth and sustainable development. Their full participation in all aspects of economic, political and social development is instrumental for nations to reach new heights.

 East Africa has the lowest university enrolment in the world, a situation which, a leading lecturer warned, can retard development of the education sector in the region.
