2015 is a crucial year for African democracy with citizens casting their votes for presidential elections in 12 African countries. We have already seen Nigeria and Lesotho undergo transfers in power. Sudan, Ethiopia, Cote d’lvoire, whose elections are set to take place on 25 October as well, Burkina Faso and Tanzania who  also have elections in October.
