CUF worried by NEC ‘failures’

TUME ya Taifa ya Uchaguzi (NEC) na Jeshi la Polisi mjini Lindi mkoani Lindi imepongezwa kwa utendaji wake wa kazi kwa kufuata taratibu na sheria kwenye kampeni za uchaguzi zinazoendelea wakati huu.

Waziri Mkuu wa zamani, Edward Lowassa kesho atachukua fomu za kuwania urais wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania wakati msafara wake utakapoanzia ofisi za makao makuu ya CUF kuelekea ofisi za Tume ya Taifa ya Uchaguzi (NEC) na baadaye kwenda kumalizia makao makuu ya Chadema yaliyoko Kinondoni.

Tume ya Taifa ya Uchaguzi NEC imetangaza idadi ya jumla ya uteuzi wa wabunge wa viti maalumu kutoka vyama vya siasa vya CCM, CHADEMA na CUF. Taarifa hiyo imetolewa na Kaimu mkurugenzi wa uchaguzi Emmanuel Kawishe alipokuwa akizungumza na waandishi wa habari jijini Dar es salaam.
