DC, four others arraigned over allegations of graft
The Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB) has arraigned Mufindi District commissioner Evarista Kalalu and other four officials over two charges, including conspiracy. In the case, filed as an economic sabotage charge No. 1 of 2015 that was presided over by magistrate Viktoria Nongwa yesterday at the Mufindi District Court, all the defendants denied the charges leveled against them.Â

All the allegations levelled against Tancoal are false
It is unfortunate that Lucy Rodriguez did not attempt to contact Tancoal to discuss the Tancoal Ngaka coal mining project prior to her article being published in The Citizen on 22 March 2014. Had she done so, I would have been able to correct the numerous factual errors and erroneous assumptions she made before committing them to print.
