Eassy Subramine Cable Damage: Vodacom Customers Experience Slow Internet Speeds

Vodacom Tanzania’s internet users today experienced slow internet speeds which were caused by a cut on the Eassy Submarine Fibre cable which carries the company’s data traffic through South Africa.
Speaking in Dar es Salaam, Vodacom Tanzania Managing Director, Rene Meza said his company had no option but to route all its internet traffic through the Seacom Submarine Cable in the Indian Ocean in order to ensure that customers had continued access to the internet.
