On October 25, Tanzanians will go to the polls to elect a new government that will lead the country over the next five years. Campaigns are underway and so far, except for the unfortunate incident in Tarime last week—when one man was stabbed to death following a clash between rival party youth—the campaigns have largely been peaceful.
