>For the past two days, there has been an artificial fuel shortage caused by some greedy oil traders, who moved to hoard the key commodity in expectation of making super profit effective today when the government’s fiscal calendar starts.  Despite being warned earlier by the regulator, the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (Ewura), some oil traders went on to withhold fuel, disrupting Tanzania’s economy.

>We must pay credit where it is due: there are visible efforts by the government to improve infrastructure in the city of Dar es Salaam. One doesn’t have to be a professional surveyor or city planner to appreciate the upgrading works that have taken place over the past 20 years.
