Some opposition political parties yesterday asked President John Magufuli to immediately find the lasting solution to the ongoing political impasse in Zanzibar.

A veteran politician and former CUF chairman Prof Ibrahim Lipumba has warned Zanzibar President Dr Ali Mohamed Shein that he was tarnishing former President Jakaya Kikwete’s international relation legacy by refusing to allow the October 25 election results to be announced.
