>President Jakaya Kikwete has expressed shock over the fresh wave of killings of people with albinism in the country, saying this barbaric cruelty, which has also given Tanzania a bad image, cannot be tolerated. In his first remarks since the renewed wave of attacks on albinos, which has subjected Tanzania to global condemnation, President Kikwete sought to absolve the government from blame, saying past efforts by his administration had stamped out the vice.
