Inflation declines to 5.8pc, says bureau

Tanzania’s economy grew at 6.8 per cent in the third quarter of 2014 compared with 7.4 per cent recorded in the same period of 2013, the National Bureau of Statistics has announced.

Tanzania should review its growth rate targets to at least 8 per cent per annum as economic and political conditions remain favourable for the country to perform better, an expert has observed.
