Is govt ‘sullying’ hand that feeds Tanzanians?
The common saying is about ‘biting the hand that feeds you.’ This is usually said as a heart-felt admonishment to the general effect that one shouldn’t treat badly someone or institution that’s helped one in some way – thus turning against a benefactor, a supporter, a friend!
