As vote counting continues, CCM’s presidential candidate Dr John Magufulil is still leading in the preliminary results against his main challenger Edward Lowassa of Chadema.

Asked why she was not in her party’s colours, she responded that people wear uniforms in the classroom and not in politics. She declined when photographers asked her to take off her cap so they could capture her face clearly. Her reason? She had not combed her hair.
