There are precisely five months to go and Tanzanians will go to the polls to elect a brand new president. They will also elect—or re-elect—MPs and councillors. That isn’t a small matter and hence, the tension in the air, for neither the office seekers nor the voters can be certain of who will be occupying the seats of power after the October 25 event.
