Land to make or break peaceful spice Islands

Politicians have yet another opportunity to scrutinise the draft constitution and chart the way forward. Leaders across party lines expected to discuss the Draft under the umbrella of Tanzania Centre for Democracy (TCD) chaired by NCCR-Mageuzi’s James Mbatia.

Perhaps more than any other period in the country’s history, the next twelve months will see Tanzanians participate in crucial political activities which if mishandled, will leave them to rue the opportunity for many years to come.

With the official start of this year’s election campaigns yesterday, Tanzania has entered the most sensitive phase in its political life: a make or break time.
