MARKET DATA REVIEW : Why business has a role in building a good society

Two weeks ago in my article titled “In the Creation of a Good Society,” in the introductory part of it I summarised some thinking and propositions from various political, economic and moral philosophers and thinkers, from both ends of the spectrum, as they opined what entails a good society, especially as is defined by value that characterises such a society.

It is fairly expected that, we as humans in our own ways should always be in the process of creating a good society — a society where citizens are largely satisfied, one where people are happy and thrive in their undertaking. A good society is one that values decency, responsibility, justice, tolerance and where natural human rights are observed.
