Media has key role to protect human rights

The call by the African Court of Human and People’s Rights (AfCHPR) for the media to promote human rights on the continent could not have come at a better time. It adds to the growing concerns over the abuse of human rights not only in East Africa, but also in many parts of the continent recently.
