Moro village without water for 60 years

>After 40 years of endurance, residents of Bwama Village in Kisarawe District, Coast Region, last week celebrated this year’s Water Week with song and dance as clean water began to flow from theirtaps.

Villagers at Pande Village in Bagamoyo District have all the reasons to smile now that a dispensary has been constructed at their village -- 35 years since its establishment.

A Sh146 million water project, sponsored by the national farmers’ network, Mviwata, and a non-governmental organisation called Trias, was launched at Engraruka Village in Monduli District at the weekend.
