Nigeria tanker fire kills dozens

At least 35 people are killed in an explosion in north-eastern Nigeria, close to the Cameroonian border, reports say.

At least 46 students have been killed by a suicide bomber at a school assembly in the north-eastern Nigerian town of Potiskum, police say.

The death toll in the oil tanker accident here had risen to five yesterday, according to the communications officer at Muhimbili National Hospital, Ms Doris Ishenda.
