Nigerian gay men being hunted down

An Islamic court in northern Nigeria acquits two men accused of having gay sex and belonging to a homosexual club.

Four Nigerian men receive 20 lashes each after an Islamic court in the northern city of Bauchi convicts them of gay sex, officials say.

Seven men have been jailed for six months in Senegal, after they were found guilty of homosexuality.

A court in Egypt sentences four men to up to eight years in prison for committing homosexual acts, drawing condemnation and concern over personal freedoms.
