Do serious reforestation to stem desertification
The recent caution by the Tanzania Forest Service Agency (TFSA) that the rate of tree felling in the country is several times higher than that of replanting, is a matter that cannot be over-emphasised. Records show that 15 years ago, the forest cover in Tanzania was 414,410sqkm; it was down to 374,620sqkm in 2000 and as of 2010, it had been reduced to 334,280!
