Rate of unemployed Germans still low as economy recovers
German unemployment remained at historically low levels in September as the recovery in Europe’s biggest economy continued on track, data showed on Wednesday. But analysts warned of possible fallout from the massive influx of refugees and potential negative knock-on effects from the massive pollution-cheating scandal at auto giant Volkswagen.
