SMEs to benefit from new credit guarantee scheme
The TIB Development Bank and the National Economic Empowerment Council (NEEC) yesterday inked a deal that seeks to see the two government-owned institutions collaborating in the endeavour to nurture enterprise growth.

In an effort to create employment and increase opportunities to Tanzanians participate fully in economic activities. In 2004, the Government of Tanzania establish National Economic Empowerment Fund, through National Economic Empowerment Act of 2004, section 16. Among other things, the fund is for extending concessionary loans and provision of credit guarantee to borrowers in Tanzania Mainland.
