 Five people reportedly died and some 1,019 were injured after they were bit by mad dogs in Mbeya Region in a period between 2013 and 2014. The statistics were unveiled by Mbeya regional livestock officer Kristian Mapunda when he spoke to The Citizen on the extent of rabies disease in the region.
