Specialists debate pressing border, migrant challenges

The Paris attacks and the discovery of a Syrian passport near one of the assailant's bodies have revived the European debate on whether to take a harder line on migrants.

At the debate entitled: Are borders immovable: Should we protect or keep them open?, the panel, moderated by Dr Philippe Boncour, the head of Cooperation and Cultural Affairs at the French Embassy in Dar es Salaam, agreed that migration has become a crucial emergency that called for urgent attention.
