STRAIGHT TALK : Tight race, that’s for sure, but we must remain one

The two leading candidates in Zambia's presidential election are in a tight race, with three-quarters of the votes counted.

Malawians are voting in what is expected to be one of the tightest elections in the country's history, with Joyce Banda facing three strong challengers.

>I am a great believer of democracy and its requirements. I am so much convinced with this belief such that I think nothing should stop their being achieved. This is, I believe, because every tenant of democracy is sacrosanct and independent.
