The status of a dependant under local immigration laws
It is understood that a dependant is someone who depends on the other for his or her livelihood or sustainability, but under Tanzania immigration laws, much as one may seem falling under that common understanding of the term dependant, still not everyone can be a dependant of the other when foreign expatriates come to invest, work or volunteer in the country.
