Traditional measures of wealth must change
For donkey’s years now, countries have relied on traditional, hackneyed measures of wealth. Most-favoured is the gross domestic product (GDP). Least Developed/Developing Countries (LD/DCs) --Tanzania NOT excepted -- are virtual slaves to this norm, shackled to it as adherents of multilateral institutions like the IMF and the World Bank.
