Zanzibar's tourism industry has suffered a slump since two British women were victims of an acid attack in August.

The Zanzibar International Film Festival (ZIFF) is a major tourist attraction, bringing thousands of guests to Zanzibar for the annual event.  Working with local hotels, tour operators and suppliers, ZIFF is also a stimulating force in the local tourist economy.
