Villagers blame govt for failure to resolve land dispute

 Residents of Msangalalee Suburb in Dodoma Makulu Ward, Dodoma municipality are blaming the Tanzania Electric Supply Company (Tanesco) for laxity.

The government has been asked to find a lasting solution to land-related disputes among Mbarali residents and an investor in the Kapunga Farm with recent reports showing that there is still a row between villagers and the management of the investment.

>The controversy surrounding the Dar es Salaam commuter bus company Uda, is sickening. As a monopolistic firm during the largely state-controlled economy era, its services were poor due to the discrepancy between a few number of buses against a consistently rising population.

Of late, there have been regular reports on land conflicts countrywide. This is not healthy for the country’s peace, security and the economy. They need to be put on check, preemptively or promptly whenever they occur.
