Last week I had a conversation with a longtime friend who supports Edward Lowasa. He’s in his 40s, resides in Dar-es-salaam, highly educated, and heads one of the largest commercial bank in the region. He voted for President Kikwete  in 2005 and was in fact the first person who alerted me to the breadth of his support.
