Why Govt's addiction to costly vehicles must end

A few years ago, Prime Minister Mizengo Pinda promised the nation that the government would stop purchasing expensive vehicles such as Toyota Land Cruisers as part of efforts to reduce government spending. We were told that the government would from the 2010/11 financial year not procure Land Cruisers and similar vehicles, and would instead opt for cheaper and fuel efficient cars like the Toyota RAV4
