Zambia holds polls amid great anxiety

>Another year has come to an end and paved the way for a new one -- 2015.  Let me accomplish the tradition of wishing everyone a happy and prosperous New Year. The year 2014 has left us with a lot of anxiety as to what is in store for Zanzibar, particularly, as the nation steps into another year of the General Election.

Elections are being held in Burundi despite an opposition boycott and weeks of protest over President Pierre Nkurunziza's plan to seek a third term.

Public opinion polling has become an essential tool in public policy decision-making, election campaigns, and media reporting.
