140,000 Dar residents’ lives at stake over climate change
>Assistant director for Environment in the Vice-President’s Office (VPO), Mr Richard Muyungi, said in Dar es Salaam that about eight per cent of the land area of Dar es Salaam which is inhabited by 140,000 people and holds property worth more $170 million were potentially in vulnerable to rising sea level.
