CRDB Bank on Wednesday unveiled its India Desk as it seeks to get a chunk of the ever increasing business ties between Tanzania and the Indian sub-continent.

Mr. Lawrence Nyasebwa Mafuru has been appointed to join CRDB Bank as an Independent Director. He will therefore be sitting in CRDB Bank Board Meetings as a Board Member.
Mr. Mafuru served as National Bank of Commerce Managing Director from June 2010 until December 2012. He also served as Tanzania Bankers Association Chairman from January 2010 until December 2012.
