Arrests in Ghana police academy scam

A suspected arms dealer from Burkina Faso is arrested in Ghana after police found weapons, including anti-aircraft ammunition, in his bedroom.

Northern Nigeria's riot police training academy has been overrun by Boko Haram Islamist militants, a witness in Borno state tells the BBC.

Police in Geita Region have arrested three people for unlawful possession of three sub-machine guns and 45 rounds of ammunition.
