Azam FC deny interest in top Yanga defender

Azam FC moved to the top of the Vodacom Premier League table thanks to a 1-0 victory over Rhino Rangers at Chamazi Complex yesterday.

Tension both on the pitch and outside dominated as traditional arch-rivals, Young Africans and Simba SC drew 0-0 in a match of the ongoing Tanzania Mainland Premier League.

All roads will lead to the National Stadium this evening as the Vodacom Premier League resumes.

The Vodacom Premier League leadership may change hands today as joint leaders, Azam FC and Young Africans play in different venues.

Azam FC bounced back to the pilot’s seat of the Mainland Premier League with a 1-0 win over Ndanda FC in an exciting match at Azam Complex yesterday.
