Brazil’s President Dilma Rousseff has regained the momentum in an election race that looks too close to call just a week before the first round of voting, using a wave of attacks to halt a surge by challenger Marina Silva.

The Tanzania Election Monitoring Committee (Temco) will deploy a total of 13,400 long term and 298 short term observers to monitor the processes of referendum for the Proposed Constitution on April 30 and the October General Election.

Vote are being counted in Zambia's presidential elections, where the ruling party's candidate, Edgar Lungu, has a slim lead over his rival, Hakainde Hichilema.
