DEAR DIARY : Let there be water this time round
As Tanzanians prepare to go to the polls on October 25, many women in some parts of the country are worried if their ballot would bring an end to the water crisis they have experienced for decades. Water stress has taken a toll on them.

DEAR DIARY: Time to re-visit hopes and dreams
>It is hard to believe that it is March already. Today is the 60th day of the year, 305 more to go. Can you believe that? It feels just like yesterday when we were celebrating the beginning of the New Year. Oh and how we are so focused when the year starts.

DEAR DIARY: Time to set your new year goals
It is hard to believe how far we have come. It is the last Saturday of the year and the last diary entry of 2014. I don’t know about you, but it has been one heck of a year.

DEAR DIARY: It’s not goodbye but see you later
>Leaving on a Jet plane is a song by John Denver, but most people will identify it with its first line All my bags are packed I’m ready to go. My mother loved this song and she hummed it every morning under the bougainvillaea tree as she took a nap. Sooner or later her demise hit us like thunder on a sunny day.

DEAR DIARY: Why would anyone kill a child?

DEAR DIARY: The future is not as I envisioned
>It is amazing that we only have 32 days to 2015. I often smile to the thought that I am in the future. 2015 is a big year, no doubt. It is the year that governments have placed deadlines to different development goals. It is the year that we will have our general election; it is a year of many changes indeed. Look at yourself; this is how the future looks like.
