>It is clear to all and sundry that locals’ participation in major construction projects has been subdued by the influx of Chinese contractors in the past decade. We acknowledge that Tanzania isn’t an island; it is part of today’s world which is getting increasingly squeezed into a global village, in which competition in all spheres is stiff and even dangerous at times.
