Golfers set for Nyerere Open tournament

Over 120 golfers are expected to battle it out for supremacy when the much anticipated FNB Bank Nyerere Open Championship tees off on October 30 at the Dar es Salaam Gymkhana Club.

>The national women’s golf team has landed an invitation to compete in this year’s All Africa Challenge Trophy (AACT).

>Golfers at various clubs have stepped up their preparations for the Tanzania Open, which will tee off on November 14.

Dar es Salaam. Kagera’s Misenyi golf country club is among nine teams expected to compete in the NHC Lugalo Open roaring into life on June 7 at the Lugalo golf club.

Moshi Club’s golfer Abas Adam lived up to his billing as he carded 157 gross strokes to lay his hands on the NHC Lugalo Open trophy.
