Govt pockets Sh365b NMB payout

National Microfinance Bank (NMB) shareholders have approved Sh45 billion dividend payment after the bank recorded 37 per cent growth in its 2013 profit after tax.

The government has pocketed a total of Sh365 billion in the last five years as dividend from 32 per cent shareholding it has in the National Microfinance bank (NMB), the bank has said.
