INSIGHT: Why aid doesn’t sustain poor nations and eradicate poverty
>While to a broad section of the population a question on poverty remains a big puzzle, some people have attributed the situation to poor planning, mismanagement and grand corruption. Even President Jakaya Kikwete himself was once quoted in an interview with a French newspaper in Paris as saying he was equally baffled by the reasons behind the country’s state of abject poverty.
