Insurance firm doubles its net profit

Dar es Salaam. Jubilee Insurance Company Tanzania Limited posted a 129.7 per cent increase in profit after tax for the financial year ended December 2013.

Bank M’s net profit for the second quarter of the current calendar year went up by 9.375 per cent compared to a similar quarter in 2013, latest financial figures show.

NMB Bank posted a 28 per cent increase in net profits during the first quarter of this year, thanks to increased loans issued to customers.
