Political commentators have commended former Prime Minister Edward Lowassa’s decision to remain active in the country’s politics.

Former East African Community (EAC) secretary general Juma Mwapachu, who quit the ruling CCM on Tuesday, said yesterday that the Father of the Nation, Mwalimu Julius Nyerere, would have taken the same move if he was alive.
