MP, minister clash in House

Parliament may today encounter yet another fierce debate on various matters of the Union between Tanganyika and Zanzibar as the state minister in the Vice President’s Office in charge of Union affairs, Ms Samia Suluhu Hassan, appears before the debating chamber to table her budget estimates.

Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism Lazaro Nyalandu is at loggerheads with the parliamentary committee on Land, Natural Resources and Environment over the current use of the Single Entry System within national parks in the country.
