Water shortage in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania’s most sophisticated city, are surely cynical towards promises on improvement of water supply. Why, the increase in city population has never matched with supply of the precious liquid. There are reports that our water infrastructure at the sources is the same one that was installed in the pre-independence era when the city’s population stood at half a million.
