People-centred budget should be major focus

Members of Constitutional Assembly (CA) have been urged to endorse a new Constitution that would meet the citizens’ interests than it is seen for the time being where the political parties are fighting to put their agendas of their political institutions.

>The government  said it was a Budget of the people, but wananchi said it was yet another financial statement they know nothing about.

>After endorsing the 2015/2016 Budget, Parliament yesterday continued with its marathon sitting to pass all crucial pending bills before dissolution of Parliament by President Jakaya Kikwete on July 9.
